چکیده
Abstract Background Tuberculosis (TB) is considered one of the most infectious diseases in world. In this study, we intended to examine epidemiology tuberculosis by MIRU-VNTR define changes that occur transmission region during COVID-19 era. A total 120 Mycobacterium isolates were collected from sputum samples patients referred East Azerbaijan Center TB December 2020 August 2021. Demographic information such as age, sex, place birth, previous history, and relevant medical data was collected. The proportion method performed for drug susceptibility testing, PCR-based applied identify molecular relationships. Results 78 male (65%) 39 female (32.5%) Iranian 3 (2.5%) Azerbaijani patients. Ninety-three distinct patterns identified including 15 clustered 36 unique patterns. largest cluster composed seven isolates. Furthermore, with 5 members, four clusters nine 2 members. typing, 75 belonged Tabriz just Republic Azerbaijan. All sensitive rifampin, isoniazid, ethambutol. Conclusions current study showed pandemic had a direct effect on diagnosis tuberculosis. Less less clustering can indicate public controls hygiene, use masks However, misidentification focus other respiratory infections are expected pandemic. Studies co-infection role mask sanitization against strongly recommended.

Genetic Diversity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Isolates from Inner Mongolia, China
BACKGROUND Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious public health problem in China, and within China, Inner Mongolia has a high prevalence area of TB. Though studies on the genetic diversity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) have been reported in many provinces, there are no such studies to date in Inner Mongolia. In this study, we investigated the genetic diversity of MTB in Inner Mongolia. METHODOL...
متن کاملIsoniazid MIC and KatG Gene Mutations among Mycobacterium tuberculosis Isolates in Northwest of Iran
Objective(s) Isoniazid (INH) is one of the main first line drugs used in treatment of tuberculosis and development of resistance against this compound can result in serious problems in treatment procedures. Resistance to INH is mediated mainly by mutation in KatG gene that is coded for the catalase enzyme. The proportional method for detection of INH-resistance is time consuming due to the slo...

Genetic Diversity of Drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis Isolates in Isfahan Province of Iran
Background Increasing drug resistance is an important factor in the complexity of tuberculosis (TB) control. The identification of disease transmission type, recurrence of a previous infection, or new transmission of the disease is the key factor in the control of TB. In this study, we aimed to identify the genetic diversity of drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates in Isfahan provi...
